Excel and Microsoft Access to Quark Xpress

Now available: A Microsoft Access DB application that feeds Quark Xpress documents like newspaper advertisements, catalogs, yearbooks, directories or books with data from Microsoft Access or Excel. You give us the Quark file with your style sheets in place, your Access database and we will configure it so you can use it again and again greatly reducing the production time going forward. Export your DB content directly into Quark Xpress, pre-formatted to your exact specifications.

The purpose of the sample project shown here was to take an existing Microsoft Access database, export data from Access and import the data directly into Quark Xpress with all the pre-defined style sheets (from Quark) intact upon import. The time savings is tremendous and multiplies the more the application is used. Where you may normally spend a day or more creating this full page advertisement, this feature dropped that to only an hour, if that. Multiply that savings by the number of weeks in the year the ad runs and ... well, you get the picture. The Client was very happy with the weekly savings and increased productivity that keeps growing with each use.
